Integrating TeamScore with Google Chat
TeamScore can integrate seamlessly with Google Chat to bring valuable metadata into your workflows, without accessing the actual content of messages. This ensures privacy while still providing useful activity insights.
What TeamScore Tracks in Google Chat
- User Messaging Activity: TeamScore records when a user posts messages in rooms or direct messages, but it does not record the message content.
- Creation of Chat Rooms/Spaces: It tracks if a user has created a new chat room or space.
- Direct Messaging Initiation: TeamScore knows when a user starts a new direct messaging conversation with other users or groups privately.
- Deleted Messages: The system gets notified if a message is deleted, though again, message content is never captured.
What TeamScore Does Not Do
It is important to note that TeamScore does not capture or store any chat message content. The focus is strictly on metadata related to user activities within Google Chat.
This approach respects user privacy while still enabling teams and managers to understand collaboration patterns effectively.
