Email Activity Tracking Overview

Google Workspace does not provide a direct API for email activities like it does for Calendar, Drive, Chat, and Meet. However, TeamScore offers a way to track outgoing emails through a separate setup process.

Setting Up Email Tracking

With a special configuration (documented elsewhere in this guide), you can set up your Google Workspace domain to automatically BCC outgoing emails to TeamScore servers.

What TeamScore Captures

• Only outgoing emails from users who are TeamScore users with this feature enabled in their feature toggles are captured.
• The captured data includes the email subject, the recipients, and whether an attachment was included.
• TeamScore does not capture the email body or actual attachments.

Why Use This Feature?

This feature is optional but popular, as email activity gives valuable insight into what people are working on and their workload.
