The Google Workspace connection is created the moment an administrator signs up for TeamScore using their Google account. No separate installation flow is required afterward – the integration begins operating automatically as soon as admin consent is granted.
TeamScore establishes a domain-level connection, which enables Workspace activity to be processed for all users in that domain who appear in TeamScore.
Please refer to our Sign Up With Google Workspace guide for the procedural steps.
Permissions Granted During Admin Consent
When the admin authenticates with Google, TeamScore receives three read-only permission groups that allow it to:
Import and maintain your user directory
Used to keep TeamScore’s user list aligned with your Google Workspace domain.
Access calendar metadata
Used to determine each user’s time zone and enrich missing event metadata from audit logs.
Receive audit events for core Workspace services
These logs are how TeamScore ingests activity from Calendar, Drive, Meet, Chat, and Login.
TeamScore does not request or receive email body content, file contents, or any ability to modify Google data.
Domain Connection Rules
TeamScore allows one connection per Google Workspace domain.
If you attempt to add the same domain multiple times, TeamScore prevents duplication to avoid redundant processing and inconsistent data.
Organizations with multiple Workspace domains may add each domain once.
User Import and Identity Matching
After the domain is connected, TeamScore automatically imports all users from your Google directory. New employees are also added automatically as they appear in Google Workspace.
You may assign TeamScore roles (Manager, Executive, Admin, Member) to determine which users participate in dashboards and reporting.
Historical Data Import
TeamScore imports a small amount of activity immediately during the initial connection so new organizations can begin seeing value immediately.
TeamScore also supports extended historical imports for organizations that need deeper visibility during onboarding. Availability of extended import windows depends on your organization’s plan and rollout stage.
Initial Import (Default)
TeamScore ingests approximately the last 8 days of Workspace activity during the first connection.
Extended Import (Available for expanded plans)
Depending on your organization's configuration, TeamScore supports importing a larger window of historical Google activity – up to 120 days – to provide broader context during onboarding and reporting.
Service-Level Controls
After the Google Workspace domain is connected, organizations can enable or disable specific categories of Google activity inside TeamScore, including:
- Calendar
- Drive
- Meet
- Chat
- Email forwarding (optional setup required)
These preferences can be applied globally or on a per-user basis.
Next Steps
Once the domain is connected:
- Activity begins flowing into TeamScore automatically
- Processing occurs throughout the day
- No manual configuration is required beyond choosing which services to enable
- All Google Workspace guides (Calendar, Drive, Meet, Chat, Login, Gmail Activity) explain how data for each service appears inside TeamScore
