Microsoft Sign-Up Process for TeamScore

Getting started with TeamScore using your Microsoft account is quick and straightforward. This guide will walk you through the steps and important details needed to complete the sign-up process.

Prerequisites

• You must be an admin of your Office 365 or Microsoft 365 tenant. This is required to grant TeamScore the necessary permissions to operate.

Step-by-Step Sign-Up Guide

1. Initiate Sign-Up: Choose the Microsoft sign-up option on the TeamScore screen. You will be redirected to Microsoft servers.
2. Grant Basic Permissions: Microsoft will ask for your identity confirmation and permission to access the user list on your domain. This step does not require admin rights and simply verifies your account.
3. Return to TeamScore: After granting basic access, you are sent back to TeamScore briefly.
4. Admin Consent Process: TeamScore will redirect you again to Microsoft to request the admin consent. This crucial step requires you, as an admin, to approve the permissions TeamScore needs.
5. Review Permissions Requested: The permissions requested include read-only access to your email, calendar, SharePoint, and Teams metadata. Note that TeamScore only accesses metadata and does not capture or ingest any of your actual content.
6. Finalize Provisioning: After providing the admin consent, you will be redirected back to TeamScore to complete the provisioning and start using the product.

Important Notes

• The entire process involves two redirects between TeamScore and Microsoft servers.
• TeamScore requires only read-only access to metadata to ensure your private content remains secure.
