Connect TeamScore to Microsoft 365
TeamScore connects to your organization’s Microsoft 365 environment through Microsoft’s OAuth consent flow. This allows TeamScore to import users and process activity metadata securely without storing passwords or accessing private content.
Admin Access Required
Only a Microsoft 365 tenant administrator can authorize the connection. Admin consent is required for TeamScore to access directory and activity metadata.
Before You Begin
Make sure you are:
- Signed in to your Microsoft 365 admin account
- Able to open pop-ups (OAuth opens in a new window)
- Ready to review Microsoft’s permissions request
How to Connect Microsoft 365
Step 1 – Start Sign-In
Click Sign Up with Microsoft 365 on TeamScore's sign-up page.
Step 2 – Select Your Organization Account
Choose your Microsoft 365 work account when prompted. This step verified your domain and does not require admin rights.
Step 3 – Return to TeamScore
TeamScore confirms your domain and prepares the admin consent request. You'll return briefly to TeamScore before being redirected again.
Step 4 – Admin Consent
TeamScore redirects you back to Microsoft to request elevated permissions. A Microsoft administrator must approve these permissions for the integration to activate.
Step 5 – Review Permissions
TeamScore requests secure, read-only access to specific metadata such as:
- Outlook email metadata (subject, sender, timestamps)
- Calendar event details (titles, times)
- SharePoint and Teams activity
These permissions allow TeamScore operate accurately while keeping message and file content private.
Click Accept to authorize.
Step 6 – Complete Setup in TeamScore
Once the admin grants consent, you will return to TeamScore to finalize provisioning. TeamScore creates your company workspace and begins the initial user sync.
If You’re Not an Admin
If you can begin sign-up, but Microsoft will not apply the permissions. TeamScore will notify you that an administrator must complete the process.
Once the admin finishes the setup, your account will automatically appear in your company’s TeamScore workspace.
Security & Privacy
TeamScore uses Microsoft’s secure OAuth 2.0 framework.
- Permissions are strictly read-only
- TeamScore never stores or manages passwords
- TeamScore never ingests message or file content
You can revoke access anytime in:
Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Enterprise Applications → TeamScore → Permissions
