Managing Your Preferences in TeamScore
The Preferences area in TeamScore allows you to customize how you receive updates and how your time zone is managed within the platform. This guide will walk you through the main preference settings you can modify to get the most out of TeamScore.
Email and Slack Reports
You can choose whether or not to receive reports about what your team members are working on. These reports can be sent via email, Slack, or you can opt not to receive them at all. Adjusting these settings helps you stay informed in the way that suits you best.
Automatic Time Zone Adjustment
TeamScore also offers an automated feature to keep your time zone up to date. This is especially useful if you travel frequently or if your organization wants to closely monitor user access based on location.
There are several ways TeamScore can automatically update your time zone:
- Based on changes in your location inferred from your IP address.
- Triggered when your calendar entries change, syncing your time zone accordingly in Google Workspace, Microsoft365, or other integrated calendars.
- From the headers of the emails you send, which helps determine your current location.
These options allow TeamScore to be smart about keeping your profile accurate and ensuring that team collaborations reflect the correct time zones.
Note: Individual managers may not have access to modify these settings yet, but TeamScore's automation helps maintain consistency across your team.
