Teamscreen Overview
The Teamscreen feature in TeamScore provides a clear and straightforward view of all users associated with your TeamScore account. It is designed to help administrators and managers easily find and manage users by offering several useful search and filter options.
Key Features of Teamscreen
- User Search: Search users by first name, last name, or email address.
- Role Filters: Filter users by their roles, such as admins, IT staff, executives, or managers.
- Active vs Inactive Users: Use a checkbox to show only inactive users. Inactive users remain connected but are deactivated, which affects billing and account plans.
Understanding the Users Table Columns
- Name & Email: Displays the user’s full name and email address.
- Roles: Shows the user’s assigned roles within the account.
- Region: Allows you to select the country and optional subregions (states, provinces, etc.). This setting influences which days are considered holidays for that user based on national, state, or public holidays maintained centrally by TeamScore.
- Time Zone: Displays the current time for the user. The time zones are selectable from a list of cities rather than abbreviations to ensure accurate handling of daylight savings and time zone changes.
- Access: Indicates whether the user can log into TeamScore. A green icon means access is granted; a greyed-out icon with a strike-through means the user cannot access the platform at all. Even users with active accounts and roles may be restricted here.
- Deactivation: Provides the option to fully deactivate a user. Deactivated users are removed from visibility by all accounts they belong to and are excluded from billing calculations.
Additional Notes
Administrators have the flexibility to modify holiday workdays on a regional basis since some holidays might not be observed by your business despite being official bank or public holidays. For example, in the United States, certain holidays such as Columbus Day or President’s Day may not affect business operations in many companies.
Using city names for time zones ensures TeamScore can automatically handle changes like daylight savings time effectively without manual updates from users or administrators.
Summary
The Teamscreen feature is a powerful tool for managing your TeamScore account users. It simplifies finding users, managing roles, setting regional preferences that impact scheduling and holidays, controlling login access, and managing user statuses for billing purposes.
