Overview of the Services Tab

The Services tab within the TeamScore user view allows you to see which services a particular user is connected to. This tab also lets you enable or disable features of these services for the user.

Understanding Service and Remote User Mapping

Services are displayed in a list down the screen. Each TeamScore user can have one or more remote users mapped to them. This setup is useful when a team member’s work is spread across multiple remote user accounts. While not very common, this ensures that all of a user’s work is accounted for and credited correctly.

To add a remote user, click the little plus icon to map an existing remote user to the TeamScore user you are viewing.

Important: A remote user can only be linked to one TeamScore user. Once linked, the remote user cannot be re-assigned and will appear with a grey line through their name indicating that they are locked to their current user.

Managing Service Access and Activity Tracking

After linking a remote user, you can change their access or subscription status to the service. Deactivating a service means TeamScore will ignore activities from that user for the service in question.

By default, an active mapping allows TeamScore to process and log user activities. You can see the last processed timestamp for each service or remote user. This timestamp helps confirm that TeamScore is correctly tracking activity and is useful for troubleshooting when reports appear empty despite users doing work.

Features Within Services

Some services, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft365, include sub-services called features. These are listed beneath the main service in smaller font.

Unlike remote users, features do not have individual user mappings. Instead, feature toggles let you decide whether the data generated within these particular features should be included in a user’s TeamScore account.

The last processed date for features also provides insight into activity being tracked for those sub-services.

Summary

  • Services tab shows connected services and their features per user.
  • Users can be linked to multiple remote user accounts, but remote users link to only one TeamScore user.
  • Service access for a user can be toggled on or off to include/exclude activity data.
  • Last processed timestamps help verify if TeamScore is successfully capturing user activity.
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft365 have feature toggles for their sub-services.
