In TeamScore, the Preferences area allows you to tailor settings for individual users to improve their experience and keep them updated on team activities.
Email and Slack Reports
One of the most common preferences you can adjust is how users receive updates about what their team members are working on. Users can choose to get reports via:

- Or not receive any reports at all

Automatic Time Zone Adjustment
TeamScore also offers an automation feature that can automatically adjust a user's time zone. This is useful if users travel frequently or if there is a need to monitor and manage where team members are accessing TeamScore from.
You can enable automatic time zone updates based on several smart signals, including:
- The user’s IP address location
- Changes in the user’s calendar entries
- The headers of emails sent by the user
These options help ensure the system remains aware of team members’ actual working locations without requiring manual updates.
