Overview

The final step in the provisioning wizard of TeamScore allows you to set up who reports to whom within your organization. This helps ensure that users have the correct permissions and can access the right data when using TeamScore.

How to Designate Reporting Relationships

TeamScore provides a simple drag-and-drop interface for defining managerial relationships:

  • On the right-hand side, you will see a list of users that you confirmed as active users from the prior step.
  • Drag these users from the right to the left-hand side to include them in your organizational structure.
  • To designate a manager, drag a user on top of another user already on the left side. The user on top will become the manager of the user you dragged.
  • You can rearrange users anytime by dragging them around on the left side to adjust reporting relationships as needed.

Example

If you add Annie first, then later add Tony and realize Tony manages Annie, simply drag Annie onto Tony’s name in the left pane. This sets Tony as Annie’s manager.

Tips and Important Notes

  • The drag-and-drop process might feel a bit fiddly at first, but it is important to set this up correctly.
  • You can always change or update the manager relationships later, so don’t worry if you can’t complete this step immediately.
  • Setting up reporting lines early means users will have proper permissions and access as soon as they start using TeamScore.

Completing the Setup

Once you finish setting up the reporting structure, click Next to complete the provisioning wizard.

You will then be taken to your TeamScore home screen, where you should begin to see data streaming immediately.
